Multiple Comments

Post by scottblitz »

I find that when I try to respond to multiple comments it doesn't work.

Essentially, if I reply to a comment it works fine and then when I try to hit reply to a second comment it doesn't do anything. It looks like the url is appending the success=true to the link.

Refreshing doesn't work but if I return to the home page and then back to the post I am able to reply again normally.

I'm running Serendipity 1.2.1 and PHP 4.3.11 and a variation of the bulletproof theme.

Thanks

Hi!

Yes,s9y's built so that once you submit a comment, you cannot directly post a new comment again. This is actually to prevent trolls from spamming your comments.

However, current templates don't evaluate this, and alwaysdisplay a "reply" link, even if no commentform exists.
