Article-preview asks for password

Since this evening every time I edit an article and press the 'Preview' Button I get a password-prompt in the iframe which is supposed to be the article preview. This happens on all computers and every browser I tried so I guess something is wrong with the blog or a plugin but I have no clue were to start the search.

It works normally if I use my mobile phone (SE m600i) and it's integrated Opera Browser
weird.

Edit: It seems to depend on the article which I want to preview, smells like a faulty plugin.

Hi!

How does that password prompt look like? Can you provide a screenshot?

I just made a screenshot, this is after starting a new article and just pressing 'preview', nothing entered (no text or tags)

Hi!

When you created that article, did you enter anything in the "Extended options" section, in the "Extended properties for entries" area where you can enter a password?

Usually that screen should only show up if you configured a passwort-protection for your entry.

you're right, there is a password set although I didn't entered one. It's already set if I create a new article. I'm going to check the properties, I guess it's somewhere there set as default for new articles.

Hi!

check your browser. Firefox is known to insert previously stored values into fields unrequested, the password form manager can be responsible for this behaviour. It's not set by serendipity itself.
