Since s9y_200502101337 the .jpg and .png Upload is broken

Post by FireBird74 »

Hi,
since the Version s9y_200502101337 from cvs, the picture upload is broken and you are unable to delete the broken files in mediamanager.

The files are on the disc after the upload, but the convertion to the thumbnails seems to be broken, after downgrading to version s9y_200502091338 and regenerating the previews thumbs everything works fine, so i stay at this version for the moment.

Hi,

I just tested with the latest CVS version and I don't have any problems with uploading or deleteing images.

From where did you upload them?

tom, doesn't this sound like the problem that appeared on supersized.org also?

I downloaded the tar.gz from today an it's not working., have a look at this "screenshoot".

Image

The first picture was uploaded from at home with the upload function and the latest version for today, the second picture was uploaded last week with the "working" version.

You have no preview of the picture and you are unable to delete the picture.

Yes, but I can't narrow it down -- I'm thinking it has something to do with the mimetype... maybe it's when getimagesize can't find the mime of the file, and 'noimage' is returned and so s9y thinks it doesn't need a thumbnail...

ups the upper Post was from me but as guest (?).

I have this on three s9y installations. I don't remove the old files i only
download the latest files with wget and the i do "cp -r" over the existing files.
Something must be changed at the mediamanager after the 09.02.

I use ImageMagick with php 4.3.10, if i downgrade the version and tell s9y to
renew the thumbnails, the picture is there and you have a preview thumb and can work with it you also able to delete the picture.

or could be the directory path thats wrong... or could be my changes are not BC, as I thought.. the strange thing is that it's working for for me

People, please check your db and see which data are posted for the image you are having problems with.. and paste 'em here.

This doesn't matter what file you are using. I also can try it with any other picture and it will fail.

I tried it now with downloading the picture http://www.s9y.org/tpl/s9y/img/s9y_logo.png, then i looks like:

The "." picture is your .png logo.
