Oh wow, I've figured a way to fix it - and it'a all back to rights!

Wish I'd thought of it before spending over 2 hours messing round, AND bothering you!

I was able to delete the blog, and reinstall it. THIS time I will NOT rush in where angels fear to tread as the saying goes, and hopefully will get on a lot better. All new stuff, and so I spose I'll forgive myself for being so silly...
