There is one option which I think some users may find valuable and I recommend adding into some future version: the ability to configure the dashboard so that the "Comments" section of the dashboard includes only comments awaiting action (i.e., pending moderation), rather than all comments.
The "In progress" section already follows this model by showing only draft posts.

It could be a sound option. The idea of the dashboard is to have everything that warrants an action on there, and each comment deserves a response, no? But I agree that comments to be moderated deserves a reaction the most, they could be prioritized.
