Hi there
I have an HTML website and I'm looking to integrate a blog and blog writing solution to it. I find WordPress too bloated for what I'm looking to do as I only need to write blogs.

Wondering if this can plugin to an existing HTML site and have the blogs create match the style/css of the html site?

That should work with Serendipity just fine.

I'm not sure what you mean by "plugin to [a] ... HTML site", but Serendipity can be installed at e.g. https://your-domain.example/blog/ when your site is https://your-domain.example/.

You will have to adapt an existing theme or create a new one, but yes, that can be done.
