App for upploading/blogging from iPhone/iPad?

Has anyone successfully used a IOS app for blogging to the Serendipity Blog?

I'm trying top use BlogPress, which is okay for text only, and then only for draft, it doesn't publish direct, and I just receive an obtuse error regarding network connectivity when trying to add an image.

Is there a better successful app out there?

Probably not.

Serendipity has a rather small user community compared to Wordpress, and we don't have an app developer on our team. So there's no app explicity made for s9y, which means the ones available use some sort of interface or API that s9y supports as well.

That's why we actually made an effort to make s9y's backend responsive starting with v2.0. That means that you should be able to use s9y's backend on any smartphone or tablet in the browser. Granted, it will not feel as “native” as an app, and there's still some kinks and quirks to work out (did I mention we're a small team?). But at the very least, you should be able to do the basic tasks just the way you do in a browser.

Popfetcher is an excellent app for sure and is made by Americans as far as I know. I'm not sure what your approach is on all the Chinese-made applications and products over the recent years, but I have found the quality so diminishing that it's not worth a single buck out of my pocket anymore. That goes as well for the applications that I've seen from Chinese developers. Plenty of them is entirely unfunctional after you buy them or not working as they are advertised. This is one of the reasons I decided to check nonotmadeinchina.com before I buy a product as the future exclusively American-made companies.
