Line Length

Post by pwallace »

My WYSIWYG editor is all messed up, so I'm using the HTML editor.

When I save my post, the line breaks are lost. Long paragraphs are show in a single line.

Is there an automatic setting I can use to put the line breaks back in, or do I need to code them at the end of each line?

We have to be more precise in naming.
There are WYSIWYG-Editors, which could be called HTML- or JS-Editors, and the Build-In S9y default PLAIN-"Editor", which is not an editor. This last has some (blue) buttons to style text parts via BBCode blocks. The main thing is inside the formfield, called textarea. If this is plain and blank, it is the PLAIN-"Editor", else, having lots of buttons on the top, a WYSIWYG-Editor.

I can not write all that again, so please carefully ready about wysiwyg-editors here:

and about linebreak / cache issues, changing plain-to-wysiwyg or vice versa, here:

Ian
