Replying to Comments

Post by JPTN »

When replying to comments, is there a way to have administrator/moderators have different styles so that someone can't just enter in the administrator's name and have a comment under that name?

It's a small issue, but if anyone can help, it'd be appreciated.

I haven't been keeping up to speed as much as I should on recent development efforts, but I don't believe that's currently possible. There are plans to implement it in the future (read: "When I have time."), though.

Actually no, there's currently no mechanism to prevent people from doing so. It wouldn't be too hard to create a plugin which rejects the admin username and only allow that if you're logged in.

But I must admit that would be a bit too much work for too little use - actually you could just moderate the comments and reject comments from users with your name?

Best regards,

Thanks for the replies.

It's not a huge issue. I do moderate, but anything to save any ounce of extra administration.

Cheers.
