I defined several categories and subcategories on my blog. Now I try to add a single post in one of the subcat.
Unfortunately, the post also appears
1. on the homepage (ok, why not) but
2. in the categorie main page AND
3. in the subcat page

Question:
Is it possible to disable all the outputs except the homepage and the subcat page?

Thank you in advance for your help.

Yes, this is no problem for s9y!

Just go to the "Categories" link in your admin page. Open each parent category. Find the option "Hide postings made to sub-categories?" and set it to "Yes".

You should no longer see the subcategory entries in the parent categories. Unfortunately, there is no global option for this. You'll have to set it in each separate parent category.

No problem! With luck, you'll never have to touch the Serendipity PHP files. Practically everything you can think of is covered by plugins, which are downloadable through SPARTACUS. You can search through them either through the SPARTACUS plugin, or at our plugin repository, http://spartacus.s9y.org/.

Let us know if you need anything else!
