Video Tutorials

Post by carl_galloway »

Hi all,

In my continuing effort to promote Serendipity I've created an English language Serendipity Blog show on Blip.TV and will be producing a bunch of screencasts for new users of s9y. Once I've got a few up there I'm going to start promoting the show to Blogger and Wordpress people and try to convert a few of them.

If anyone is interested in seeing the show it's at http://serendipity-blog.blip.tv/

Hi!

Whooyeah! Feel free to announce that on blog.s9y.org.

I absolutely digg your voice, especially your accent. Love it. It sounds so sophisticated. :) I think we should declare you as official serendipity spokesperson. :-)

Best regards,
Garvin

tsk tsk, very sad

Funny thing about my voice, when I'm speaking in public I know how to use intonation and character, but sitting at my desk talking about Serendipity didn't sound the way I wanted it to, I need to develop a 'radio voice'.

Do you have any ideas for future video tutorials?

I've added another screencast, this time on using the HTML nugget. It's also on the blip.tv show

Nice job Carl - my only suggestion would be to use the default admin interface for future screencasts so the only plugin columns are left, hidden and right. Either that, or specifically mention that you are not using the default. You could also consider introducing yourself! :)
