If you're looking for a jQuery tabs solution, I'd strongly recommend Dirk Ginader's accessible tabs.

(S9y-powered blog, BTW)

If you have any customization requests, I'd be happy to contact Dirk to see if he would be willing to help.

Hi!

I've just committed a patch that uses the defualt fold in/out of the installer to the template and plugin options.

The foldin/out logic might need an overhaul to utilize tabs, but I'm not really sure how to achieve this, since I don't have much experience with tabbed stuff. Also, I'm afraid our horizontal space won't be sufficient for many issues, so something vertical might be required in the end...

Regards,
Garvin

I'm not a big fan of the jQuery Tools framework since it's default CSS is not very good (lots of it's examples don't work with JS deactivated, which is a big issue), but they do have a tabs "plugin" which can be used as an accordion with some small CSS changes. Maybe this is an option for admin templates with scarce vertical space.
