mod_rewrite, gallery2 and you

Is it possible to embed gallery2 in the blog with mod_rewrite (make pretty url)?

Blog:
brian.mysite.com
Gallery2:
mysite.com/galery2

I want to be able to get page ranked on atleast the blog.
