If the button does not do anything the Javascript will not get executed. Is there nothing in your browser's javascript console?
Yes, I got:

Code: Select all

Uncaught ReferenceError: spam is not defined
    onclick http://www.deesaster.org/blog/serendipity_admin.php?serendipity[adminModule]=comments:1
serendipity_admin.php:1:1
Best regards

Let's see whether after the update tomorrow the issue remains.

Okay, it works now. The comment is shown directly after commenting (instead of the number) and the spam button is working again.

Thanks

Hey, I understand. It was on paper a nice function, but the code was just overly complicated. Now that we have a simpler foundation we could try to add it again.

But please observe it a bit first: If you use bayes with the spamblock-bee plugin, are there many comments that Bayes puts in that 80% spamrating area? Or isn't it either a valid comment or clear spam? Because then you could just reject spam directly.
