Help! A new nstall of Serendipity 1.6.2

I am running Win7 64bit, and WAMP server w/PHP/MySql/Apache, and have been for
several years. But I tried an install of Serendipity 1.6.2 today on my LOCAL machine
and have had nothing but problems since the install.


Now my machine has no access to the LOCALHOST. I've been checking all the WAMP
configuration files, and the alias files... and even the HOST file in windows/system32/drivers/ect
and everything appears ok..l. but still no localhost. Hmmm.

It was fine before the install (and has been for years) before the Serendipity
install.

Help please... what could the install have altered?

Hi!

What's your problem exactly? If http://localhost/ does not work, it is unrelated to serendipity, but then your WAMP installation does not work...?!

The s9y installation changes nothing in your MAMP configuration files...but it would depend on the actual error that you face to be able to help you.
