Live Writer :: Serendipity plugin XML RPC

I'm new and not caught up on events.

I just started a site @ justhost.com and it came with a serendipity blog system package (I cannot find what version they are using). Tried looking for a way for Windows Live Writer to connect to it so I can do updates rapidly for time efficiency and found out, but said I needed the XML RPC plugin. I downloaded it, but I do not know which directory to install this plugin at.

Which directory do I install it in?

Hi!

You need to simply put it into the /plugins directory, so that you later have a file like plugins/serendipity_event_xmlrpc/serendipity_event_xmlrpc.php

Once that is done you can enable the plugin in your s9y plugin manager. And once that is done you can point your Live writer to http://yourhost/serendipity_xmlrpc.php and use the blogger or MetaWeblog API.

Btw, thank you for helping out. This stuff is rather complexed and takes time to sort through it all. Something that a filmmaker like me rarely has time for.

I'm not quite sure how to do this. All the stuff came preloaded onto the site.
