Thanks Don, it's been a while since I did a Serendipity theme soit took me a little longer and hunting around the forums for updated code took a while but I hope it will be worth it. Regarding your comment styles, if you do update the zipfile let me know because I really do like it and will happily ...

XHTML Theme 'Exotic' ported to s9y

Image

Another Serendipity user asked me to convert this attractive design to s9y so here it is. This theme also includes Don Chambers really awesome comments styles. Read all about the theme and download it.

Small bug in Static Pages plugin

I've just installed the latest verion of the static pages plugin and I notice that a font color has been hard-coded (style="color: blue;") into the html on the URL button. The bug is on line 2106 in serendipity_event_staticpage.php

It's a shame static pages can't be integrated into the core, that is one of the strengths of WP in my opinion, and one of the weaknesses of s9y since the static pages plugin is overly complex and being a plugin doesn't play as nicely as posts do with certain plugins such as the metadesc plugin, and ...

Very nice looking theme there. The only thing that bugs me a little bit is the numbers in the calendar being aligned to the left. If you don't like centered numbers, can I suggest adding a left padding of 1 px or even 2px just to keep the numbers off the border

Great work

Garvin you've done a fantastic job of keeping the project alive while the rest of us have come along and then left again, well done. One of the things I tend to use Serendipity for is CMS rather than blog, and I'd like to see the static pages completely internalized, just like WP does, even allowing...

301 redirect from static html pages to serendipity

I need to 301 redirect about 10 static html pages in the root folder of a domain to the new serendipity install, eg http://url/page1.htm ---> http://url/archives/6-blah bhal.html Can anyone help me with the .htaccess code I need to make this work without affecting s9y's ability to control 404s, arch...

OK, so now that's working, thanks Garvin, but I have another question. Sorry about all the questions. In index.tpl how do I query which language the reader has selected using ?serendipity[lang_display]=hu At the moment I've got {if $lang==hu} which only seems to work when the browser has 'hu' config...

Sorry to bump this, I know I've got this stuff working in the past but trying to find my previous threads here is like a needle in a haystack, anyway, I've tried both of user_language and lang_selected and neither of them is working. If you have the time, are you able to take a look at the site agai...

sure, I've used tinyurl again just so the SEs don't index the temporary page, http://tinyurl.com/5ayu86 As you can see on this the javascript files don't appear in the head although the images have the lightbox code in them. The strange thing is that the metadesc plugin is working on the entry page....

Uh oh, sorry Garvin it's only working on the front page not on the entry pages. Is there something else I need to do?

I don't know what I've done, but the lightbox now works on the home page in Safari but not on the other pages. If I add the lightbox javascript stuff into index.tpl and manually add the rel="lightbox" will this work? Also, how do I get Serendipity to stop opening two windows for each image?
