Be patient with me... but I'm not familiar with the databases as well..
Was wondering... since the database is still intact, wouldn't be a good idea to tell to the blog file which database shoul use, rather insert the data from the dump file?

Yep... I can access to Myphpadmin, I saved the database dump from there of course... I wouldn't risk again to reinstall once again everything... Where the file you mentioned above is located? Ok, removed everything, blog directory included and created a new subdomain (vgsblog.ecc.-ecc.com)
Installed succesfully the 2.0.5 but the question is: since I saved the dump database, can I restore it into the new one or what?
