Re: Moving to GitHub.com: Call for developers - CVS/SVN affe
Just side opinions of foreigner: Git+GitHub are overvalued last time... Good and logical infrastructure and team can be formed in another locations (maybe - even more easy) PS - I'm github (git)|bitbucket (mercurial) user, but prefer groupwork in Assempla Spaces (with any of supported by Assembla SC...

Re: Easy way to use CustomField
You only need to do that once in the plugin setup, not every time?! In plugin setup I can change fields count, field name and nothing (?) more. My task is in single field in every entry write like this (changeable parts are italicized ) Rating<br /> <img src="uploads/ one .gif"> ...

Re: Easy way to use CustomField
Well, custom fields from ExtendedProperies is tool of choice (and was before I started topic - I just don't know another solution).
I just asked - how to write in field less text, if I have (5-10) hardcoded patterns and too lazy repeat all html every time

Easy way to use CustomField
For one of my projects I want to use CustomField, which will contain image.
Yes, I know: I can write img src="uploads/*stars.gif", but - it's long and not bulletproof writing.
I'll prefer to write smth. like{$one}...{$ten} as CF-value
Can I do it andif yes - how?

Can I hope to see (all? mandatory changeable?) general blog settings in just plain-text files (f.e serendipity_config.inc.php)? Why?! Because now in order to - move blog to new hostname|location - clone blog-skeleton (with big amount of used plugins it have sense) I must to change in new bog (editin...

Re: freetag: Invalid "Related tags" 1 2 3 (bug?)
Just an idea - some tags may exist before, but they are disappeared now. Maybe you can try Manage Tags - Cleanup Mappings?hanno wrote:I think you still misunderstand me: There are no such tags as 1, 2, 3, they just appear in the frontend.

Re: QuickSearch and 8bit terms
Well, Garvin, we can close this issue
Second blog with (almost) the same settings works with 8bit russian text, single difference is SET NAMES ON for good blog.
I suppose, this value have to be documented in user's doc as mandatory for non-English UTF8 blogs

ScribeFire and Serendipity - can they work more transparent?
Tried to use ScribeFire (Next 1.7.1 - Firefox) for posting into s9y and got big headache (Serendipity1.5.5 + event_xmlrpc 1.45, MT engine) * Can't enable commenting from SF interface * No tags section for adding tags * Can't define "scheduled posing" - publication time is always a time of ...
