Re: New features for spam protection plugin ...
Okay, that's a good idea! I'd like such an implementation, this should be workable. Fine! Then you should best look at the serendipity_event_spamblock plugin and add your custom rules in that file directly... I think, I live with the existing solution. If I do manual modifications, I have to repeat...

Re: New features for spam protection plugin ...
I know that. But one would have to edit this list over and over again, as the TLDs can change sometimes, right? :) And that list is quite large, I'm afraid a regular expressions would be very large. The only intelligent way is, to import the list into a database table and to check against this tabl...

Re: New features for spam protection plugin ...
This could be done, but personally I'm not fond of email verifiers, as they all tend to have flaws in identifying mail adresses at some point. Actually, serendipity already checks for "@" containment. My wife got a comment last night without "@"-sign. So, can you please tell me,...

New features for spam protection plugin ...
Hi, is it possible to upgrade the spam protection plugin to support the following features? - checking for "valid" e-mail-adress (somewhat@other.do.main.tld, a check of an existing top level domain and the at-sign "@" should be sufficient) - checking for multiple exclamation mark...

Do you have a roadmap in mind?garvinhicking wrote:Yes, Serendipity 0.9 with the Spartacus plugin can do that to you.
When will s9y 0.9 finally arrive?

Searching plugin like spartacus for themes ...
Hi,
does s9y have any plugin that is able to get themes "out of the blue"
I mean, do we have a plugin that can download themes from the internet (or CVS) like spartacus does with plugins?
Thanks for any advise.

Re: Preview for plugins ...
There's only the textual description of what a plugin does. Yes. I found those. But it is difficult to realize, that a plugin called "HTML-Klotz" (in German, I don't know the translation) is to be taken for implementing own html into the sidebar. We're trying hard to find developers to up...

Preview for plugins ...
Hi,
I looked hard but I did not find any place with previews of the plugins s9y (resp. Spartacus) offers.
Does this place exist?
Thanks for any hint!

Re: new user question
Will this software allow multiple blogs (from each member of his company, if they desire) and allow people to see them? Thanks for your time in answering dumb questions. Shared installation is experimental. What you can do, is a seperate installation for every user who wants to blog or you make one...

Re: Switch from English to German dates
As far as I know it is the same, but for example "iconv -l" does not know anything with "euro".garvinhicking wrote:We have a de_DE@euro locale, shouldn't that be the same?

Re: Switch from English to German dates
Maybe you should add de_DE@ISO-8859-15, that is de_DE@ISO-8859-1 with the Euro sign.garvinhicking wrote:Your server needs to support german locales, please ask your server admin which locales are installed. One of de, german, de_DE, de_DE@UTF-8, de_DE@ISO-8859-1 is required.
