I can only tell I used the debian default joe to edit the jazzcafe files in the CVS additional_themes repository this weekend. Inside thos files, the UTF-8 BOM was contained. I don't know if you are talking about different files? Apparently I am. I somehow got confused with jazzcafe and Carl's andr...

BTW, tried everything, even created a linux install with joe and other text editors and still couldn't see the extra characters. C'est la vie. I suppose joe needs a special setup or command to actually show these characters. I'm ready to dive into it's documentation to find out, but I wouldn't mind...

Yellowled also tells me he ran the files through a filter known as 'recode' and it couldn't complete index.tpl due to being erroneous. Erm, sorry ... I have to admit that I actually misinterpreted recode's output - it actually said my use of recode itself was erroneous, not the file  However,...

Could I ask anyone who uses Linux to take a look at my andreas00 files in pico and let me know if a similar problem exists. I'm stuck using Windows and haven't yet found a text editor that shows me anything different, yet I know there has to be an extra character in one of the files. Thanks everyon...

Hmmm. Just a spontaneous idea while reading this ... how about some drop falling into water and spreading waves? Goes well with the color blue, too ... :)

where to find?
http://themes.s9y.org/ of course :) (Choose "Serendipity v3.0" in the template dropdown in the upper left corner if it's not already selected)

I'm a little late, but anyway: why green? I realise it's some (in my opinion) weird webdesign trend to use green with any color it does not (again, in my opinion) match very well with, but as far as I remember, the color for s9y was always blueish/greyish? Moreover, Carl's new default theme does not...

Show parent categories

Hi everyone, I'm currently trying to make my template display not only the "child" category an entry belongs to but also the "parent" category - if that's possible in s9y at all? My problem is to find the right (smarty?) variable to use for this. My "target" would be so...
