Hostingempfehlung?

Bernd

Re: Just curious: Next and IE11, Back-Button (Entries) missi

Hi YL, first, thanks for the CSS-help - will use it this afternoon. The "#identity" was mainly what I needed :-) Regarding the info about the IE-11 problem: I (kind of) understand what you are saying, but I would have supposed that this would cause the problem in all browsers. It was only ...

Just curious: Next and IE11, Back-Button (Entries) missing

Hi, I am using the Next-theme, and some minutes ago was showing the site http://www.ev-ref-gladbeck.de to someone. I noticed that the "show older entries" button at the end of the "Aktuelles"-page was not visible, and that also the lower line under the H1 ("in gladbeck...&qu...

Very humble suggestion for serendipity_plugin_imagesidebar

Hello, could you please consider to offer an option "none" for "Behavior of image link"? I would very seriously consider using it, since I use the rotating pictures in my sidebar mainly for decoration, and they could just be displayed as-is, without any option to view the larger ...

Re: Have one img embedded without border (next theme)

Thanks for the book recommendation, but also that you are willing to help directly - I appreciate both! I am willing to learn, and have done so again and again, also here on the forum, but sometimes, especially when time constraints are tight, it is very good to be able to ask the people who just kn...

Have one img embedded without border (next theme)

Images embedded have a very small border, 1 px or so, I suppose, which is fine. I am not sure if this border is styled by Next, if not, please forgive me for posting here in the themes-section. For one particular img, I would like it to be displayed without this border, preferrably by just editing t...

Re: Theme Next: How to use a different Google font

BTW, where ist the line "Powered by Serendipity and the Next theme?"

I would like to edit that to something like "...based on the Next theme", since I would not want my possible mistakes to reflect badly on you.

Re: Theme Next: How to use a different Google font

Same time again. And no, I didn't use Foo ;-) Edit: For those searching later: Works like a charm. You have to edit index.tpl, config.inc.php and style.css, identify the relevant sections (which is easy enough since even I managed to do so), add the font and define an abbreviation for it, and bingo.

Re: Theme Next: How to use a different Google font

OK, I now have a directory Foo with all files from Next under ../templates, but when I want to choose Foo as my template, it does not show in the list...

OK, I found the solution: Edit the info.txt to reflect the new name :-)

Re: Theme Next: How to use a different Google font

Thanks a lot! Even though I am not familiar with editing .tpl, the Syntax near the beginning concerning fonts seems pretty straightforward, I will try that route and report here.

Theme Next: How to use a different Google font

Hi there, for the Next theme, I need to use a font not offered in the default options. The font is available via Google fonts, but I could just as well host it myself, if that makes things easier. I have tried the search function, but to no avail (which could be because I am not using the right sear...
