Hi Werner, I'm happy to help - BTW, check your email for a couple of items that I sent off this morning regarding the login and calendar styling...if you didn't receive anything from me, please let me know. Here's a post that explains the categories.tpl mod that I made to get the category icons to s...

Looks great Steve - I'm posting this comment that I left for you here at the S9Y forum too ... is anyone else seeing this behavior in FF3 in the Comments box? Steve, there's something goofy with FF3 as I type in this text box. The text itself is almost so light as to be invisible (except that every ...

It's much nicer now than in the original orange on blue. I've made (much) darker orange and darker blue work well together, but it was isolated to a blue over orange text/tag line logo, blue text and orange design elements (bullets, 1px borders, etc) on a white background. Used sparingly and in just...

Thanks Garvin! Your efforts are very much appreciated. I like the sound of the embedded Xinha WYSIWYG editor. With some effort, I'm now using TinyMCE inside of S9Y 1.3.1 but debated using Xinha at the time (I ultimately went with TinyMCE for the S9Y media library integration). I, for one, will defin...

Nicely done! That is a first-rate layout - easy to navigate, pleasing to the eye, and very professional.

Re: i3Theme mod - wide entry display

a. I don't think "Go wide/slim" is a good description for this. Maybe it's just too brief to get what it's actually doing. My suggestion would be "Wide/slim view (of this entry)" or something, but maybe someone else can come up with something better. b. You really shouldn't use ...

Thanks Garvin, that's pretty much what I figured - otherwise, why have Smarty at all right? :D

Thanks,

i3Theme mod - wide entry display

I've come up with a simple mod for the i3Theme, ported by yellowled, that gives the reader the option to open the post in a still-appropriately-themed fluid "wide view" - in other words, no sidebars, no search, no extra "stuff", just a content window with main menu which fills th...

TinyMCE event plugin workaround for blockquote

Apologies if this has been discussed already or is documented somewhere... I've just implemented TinyMCE as my wysiwyg editor in lieu of the default wysiwyg editor "htmlAREA". I ran into some odd problems getting blockquote to work - basically the button wouldn't show up, and the plugin di...

Alpay, SPARTACUS is really cool, but I also like to browse http://spartacus.s9y.org too - it beats the heck outta sourceforge and I like having the category menu on the side of the page.

Hi Alpay,
Here's a first thought - what version PHP are you running?
Second, can you output phpinfo() and post it, or look to make sure that DOM is enabled (and maybe ICONV too)?

If yours is more configurable (and it sounds like it is) or it provides additional features (like a log viewable in the admin screen), we'd probably like to commit it to the repository. It sounds to me like a drop-in replacement for the existing plugin. Thanks Judebert - I've cleaned up my plugin, ...

That's a pretty impressive accomplishment, there. I hope to see more from you in the future! Thanks judebert - much appreciated! Given the investment, it was hard to walk away from the project, so I dug deeper and re-worked my login/logout plugin. I can't really see making two plugins that serve th...

Re: sidebar login/logout plugin - test/review please?

Hi! Is there a special reason why you do not use the serendipity_plugin_loginform + serendipity_event_loginform plugins (available on spartacus)? Heh heh, probably because I didn't realize they were there, despite a valiant hunt and many searches through the forum  I think I'll go with the ex...

sidebar login/logout plugin - test/review please?

Hi All, I've put together a sidebar login/logout plugin that I'd like to share and get some feedback on - in particular, from a security perspective. Available here: http://www.pigslipstick.com/_product/serendipity_plugin_sidebarlogin.zip I'm doing this to more elegantly handle non-admin user's who ...
