If you could get me the SSH information to login I would be more than happy to get the basic site setup for you. http://www.faq.1and1.com/scripting_languages_supported/ssh_secure_shell/4.html With SSH the install process takes less than 10 minutes if you know how to run Linux from the command line. ...

I do not see the exif info in gallery2 itself. It seems like the photo does not have any exif data in it, this could be due to resizing or using a odd program to edit the photos.

Your test photos (from before) had exif data in them, these ones do not that I can see.

Re: Edit Plugins page defunct when guestbook is active

or see in some logfiles what's happening? The default for apache is to create a file called error_log in the directory that the script is located. For quite a few servers the file will be located at /home/username/public_html/error_log if you have s9y in another directory it will be in /home/userna...

First suggestion: move away from 1and1. They are one of the worst over sellers of web space around. This is just a suggestion that I tell anyone who uses them for hosting. I would be happy to explain the issues I've seen with this host if you (or anyone else) wants to know. My next suggestion is to ...

Serendipity is a framework for plugins. By initiating a session no matter what it allows for plugins to utilize it if needed. By removing the session cookie it could possibly break plugins. I have no idea if this would actually happen, but it is a very high probability. That being said, I think it w...

Looks like it was a problem between "Extended properties for entries" and "nl2br". I've uninstalled and reinstalled that plugin and everything seems to be working.

nl2br -- Settings Not Altering Performance

I want to enable nl2br for only comments, but when I change the setting in the plugin to enable it only for the one section it does not alter anything. By this I mean the plugin works everywhere even when I tell it only to work on the comments. I've had comments disabled for a while now and decided ...

It looks like your site's files did not all get updated for 1.2. You might try to upload all of the files again which will more than likely resolve the issue. The file I would really look at is rss.php in the root of your directory. It could also be that there is some empty space before a file, this...

bingo, it was the auto-increment. For some reason it was reset to around 20 instead of 200. I just hit my first post ID and had the script error out. I changed the auto-increment back to the right value and everything is back up and running great.

Thanks.

I agree with the iframe, just trying to figure out what would work. The javascript comes from adsense: search box code: <!-- SiteSearch Google --> <form method="get" action="http://zacgarrett.com/searchresults" target="_top"> <table border="0" bgcolor="#f...

I was playing around with this yesterday in Feedburner... You do not have to do anything from the CMS side (s9y), it is all via feedburner. When inside your account go to the monetize section. This was formally for feedburner's ads. Now it is for adding adsense to your feed. You just need to associa...

Request: Embedded Google Quicksearch

I just started using the Google Quicksearch plugin and I really like it. The only problem I see is that I want to keep the results on my site. What I am thinking is just a simple iframe of sorts with the results rather than sending the results directly to google. Google also offers some javascript t...

WeblogMatrix Outdated

While looking through wikipedia I found that the WeblogMatrix entry for s9y is not up to date. It looks like Garvin has access to update it, but I am not exactly sure how that site works. If we need to contact them to get it updated I will be happy to do so. http://www.weblogmatrix.org/show/Serendip...
