i'm not that good in s9y inside support but it appears to be some problem with Smarty.class.php when you were uploading it ! bundled-libs/Smarty/libs/Smarty.class.php it's just a suggestion though Yeah. Well to exclude any upload problems I did a wget on the latest S9y files, unzipped it and copied...

I have had it with S9y upgrade problems
Guys, I'm writing this to vent my frustrations with S9y and especially the archaic upgrade system. Each time I have to MANUALLY ftp or SFTP files, check setting and stuff and EACH time I do this I end up having some problems killing my blog that has over 5 years of entries in it. I am so fed up with...

Hi, I have also begun to receive errors similar to these - and only with 500k images. I have uploaded substantially larger in the past with no issues, and I have plenty of disk space. Was this problem resolved in the end? Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to alloca...

Ok, I think it's the server cause the problem is intermittent: it works and then it doesn't. I have submitted a support ticket and hope they know how to fix it.
Btw: I host at http://www.site5.com. I have hardly any problems with them and their prices are downright cheap for what you get.

Re: Why not update S9y through SPARTACUS?
Hi! I was wondering: why hasn'y anyone build in an update feature for S9y itself using Spartacus? You've asked this in the past already, I think? :) The answer always has been, that it would impose a security risk because all files would need to be writable. It could be exploitable. This answer is ...

Why not update S9y through SPARTACUS?
Hi all, and a Merry Xmas before I forget it! I was wondering: why hasn'y anyone build in an update feature for S9y itself using Spartacus? It can update plugins and such why not S9y itself? Also: having this as a update "service" it means less people run versions that are not secure.. Just...

Re: Problem with Forum/PhpBB plugin
Hi! Yes, you are missing more than one table. The forum plugin creates more than one table. You'll need to create the other missing ones as well. I don't know why they didn'T created for you, it worked here for me. Maybe you earlier had the forum plugin installed and removed it at some point or dro...

Re: Problem with Forum/PhpBB plugin
Garvin, thanks a lot: you're the best! I ran your code and that did the trick; any idea why the installation didn't do this on it's own? Other plugins I used never failed to create the necessary tables? Oops.. too soon: I get this error when I click "New thread" Fatal error: Cannot use st...
