Re: freetag - related posts' pictures

Thanks Don for pointing me to the widget. I guess that's what I had seen on many foodblogs but had mistaken for a WP-Plugin.

If there is no way of modifying the freetag plugin as wished for (still hoping), I might have to go with the external widget...

freetag - related posts' pictures

Hello, I've been using the freetag-Plugin for a while. I'd like to turn the serendipity_freeTag_related content into something often seen in food blogs, featuring small pictures (with links) instead of text links. I have an idea of how to edit the html as well as css of that section, to get 4 small ...

bug? static pages sidebar title

Hello, I've been happily using the static page plugin for a while. Today I saw, that the given sidebar title for the static page plugin gets ignored and replaced by 'statische seiten' the german term for 'static pages'. This headline had been working before I recently updated the plugin. Therefore I...

Re: performance issue with multilingual plugin

Thank you Garvin, for the detailed index help. I'll check /set those. They won't be touched with any s9y or plugin-update? I'll keep the static page option as plan B for now... The autosave plugin definitely has some issues with entryproperties, but sadly I do not really know that plugin very well a...

performance issue with multilingual plugin

Yesterday my provider prompted me to optimize mysql queries and / or DB indizes, since the following request is way to time consuming (18 seconds). Due to the many joins it searches in 3.000.000 entries for one single entry. I was shocked, since I'm quite convinced of the serendipity system. I figur...

Re: permanent redirect problem

Hi Garvin, thanks for your speedy reply. I will try more options using RewriteCond and [L]. Are you suggesting php redirect instead? How is everyone else, using mod_rewrite doing permanent redirects? You are right about leaving s9y rewrite conditions untouched. I restored them already. Thanks for th...

Re: how to remove dot and comma from entry-url

Sorry stm999999999, I missed your post. Just stumbled upon it today, when searching for redirect-topic (to avoid duplicate content after url rewriting;
see http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=18080).
Thanks for your help!

permanent redirect problem

Hi, after a long time of running my blog without url-rewriting I recently decided to use it, in order to get rid of the irritating domain.com/?/archives/id-article.html url structure. I managed to change urls as desired. .htaccess is doing it's job, after I had to change the initial lines slightly. ...

Re: flickr Fotostream for Sets

Despite this turned out to be kind of a monologue, it might be helpful for those who intend to display selected sets of their flickr photos in s9y... Happily, the missing sorting attribute is no problem. Sets can be sorted in Flickr directly. I sorted mine newest first. If you then follow the steps ...

Re: flickr Fotostream for Sets

That's weird! Briefly I got the desired pictures displayed for some reason... But the code I postet above is NOT working. (wrong function parameters) The way to select pictures from a set is as follows: $photos = $f->photosets_getPhotos("set_id", NULL , NULL, $num, NULL, "photos"...

Re: flickr Fotostream for Sets

I figured it out now... A couple lines have to be edited: $photos = $f->photosets_getPhotos(array("photoset_id" => "72157623591581540", "extras" => "date_taken", "per_page" => $num, "media" => 'photos')); // $photos = $f->photos_search(...)...

Re: flickr Fotostream for Sets

Thx Garvin! Unfortunately there is no such argument as set-id for photo search. One way to achieve some sort of filtering would be to use a certain tag for all pictures in the album I want to include. Seems that photos_search() allows filtering by tags. I also tried the following: $photos = $f->phot...

flickr Fotostream for Sets

Hello, I have been usinf flickr Fotostream (serendipity_plugin_flickr) for inclusion of my Flickr pictures. Lately I sorted pictures into so called sets. I'd like to select only one of them for inclusion in Serendipity. Is there a chance to update the flickr plugin in a way, that users can limit the...
