Re: Large spaces when using paypal on static

I have a somewhat related question. I recently upgraded to 1.4.1. I just edited an entry and now I have large areas of white space between graphics and text and between tables. Could any of the markup plugins be causing this? Thanks very much.

The best,

Re: loginbox.tpl from serendipity_plugin_adduser

Hello, I've looked in the loginbox.tpl, registerbox.tpl, and all the php files in the adduser plugin and can't find where to just alter the way the login box is displayed on the page. Right now it reads: Username then an input box is under that, then below that is Password and under it another input...

Re: Suggest Entries Plugin

Hey! It's working! The suggestions come in as draft entries so when you go to Edit Entries in the Serendipity Admin Suite they are listed there where you can preview, edit, and post as desired. Okay, now I need to see if I can modify the form to maybe encourage would be suggestion writers. Then I wa...

Re: Suggest Entries Plugin

Okay Don, thanks. In the meantime I have sent some more tests through the plugin and if I use a cleared cache it does validate the suggestion and gives a message that the editors will review the suggestion. Great up to this point. The next step isn't happening though, namely me getting an email with...

Re: Suggest Entries Plugin

Thank you Garvin and Don, for your replies. So far I can click the suggest entry link in one of my sidebar html nuggets, it brings up the form in my blog shell, I fill it out as a user and submit it. As the user I get an email, I must click a link to verify my suggestion. I click it as the user woul...

Re: Suggest Entries Plugin

Thanks again Don. I can do that with the tpl file. I am still having problems with the suggest event plugin. It gets to the point where it tells me that my suggestion cannot be validated. I feel like I am reinventing the wheel at every step here. Is there any place that will tell me how to set up an...

Re: Suggest Entries Plugin

Um... I missed this earlier: ....and created a folder named page to hold the suggest.html file. /pages/ is not a real folder - it should not physically exist, nor should there be a physical suggest.html file. Both the folder /pages/ and the file suggest.html are rendered dynamically. Returning to y...

Re: Suggest Entries Plugin

Does it work with http://yoursite.com/path-to-s9y-if-any/index.php?serendipity[subpage]=suggest Thanks for the reply Don. No, it just keeps reloading the main page. I edited the suggest event plugin as you wrote above (with my domain name) and also a short version which looked like this: serendipit...

Re: Suggest Entries Plugin

Yiiiiiiiiiiii! Okay, I see my path in the suggest event plugin is too long, I shortened it to /serendipity/index.php?/pages/suggest.html and that didn't work. It still just brings up the blog. I'm going to change the nugget path and see what happens. No luck, I've changed these paths at least 20 ti...

Re: Help?!?

Hi! The permalink needs to be the string only containing the HTTP path, not the full host. So instead of http://www.homesinguelph.ca/blog/index.php?/pages/suggest.html you would need to use /blog/index.php?/pages/suggest.html Also, you can access your suggest entry via: http://www.homesinguelph.ca/...

Re: url rewriting - locked up my blog - help

This has nothing to do with the URL rewriting. Check your serendipity_config_local.inc.php if your mysql account data is correct. There was a problem with the serendipity_config_local.inc.php file! It had an old userID and password in it. But what would change it? I didn't overwrite the file. Could...

Thanks for the reply. Everything is the same with serendipity_config_local.inc.php. So maybe it is a temporary server glitch?

url rewriting - locked up my blog - help

In configuration I checked Apache Rewriting instead of the default disable rewriting. Now I can not access the admin suite or my blog. Serendipity is reporting errors : Warning: mysql_select_db() [function.mysql-select-db]: Access denied for user 'root'@'localhost' (using password: NO)include/db/mys...
