Re: 1.5.2 update, some Plugin updates failed SOLVED
I gave it a second try, extracting by hand in the plugins directory, et voilà, all fine -- that's a real noob mistake replacing the whole plugin directory. Sorry and thanks.

Re: 1.5.2 update, some Plugin updates failed
Thanks Garvin!
I am asking me now: how do I extract the update over the existing files? I am able to use a SSH connection to my LAMP hoster.
Regards,
Achim

Re: Layout of plugin output positions: Karma Hits, Search
Hi all,
thanks much for your support.
For (1.) I found this way:
is what I had to reposition in the markup.
Your hints led me the right way
For the positioning of the Search field, it seems to be easy, I will try it this afternoon.
Thanks again and regards,
Achim

Layout of plugin output positions: Karma Hits, Search
Dear all, I'm asking me how to place the 1. <div class="serendipity_karmaVoting serendipity_karmaVoting_images"> inside/on the last position of <div class="serendipity_Entry_Date"> without touching the Karma plugin code. 2. search box somewhere in the header instead of the sideba...

Re: ideas for rearrangement of admin-menu
Sidebar plugins are shown on your blog's frontend and can be arranged in their position
I like this idea most.Event plugins control the functionality of your blog, add features or connect to other services
It would help very much for beginners.

Achim

Re: sidebar.tpl: SMARTY expression "every second item"?
Dear all,
thanks much for the instant help.
Today, I found the time to check the even/odd mechanism and yes, it works!
(I used the first suggested solution.)
Kind regards,
Achim

Relative Datumsangaben?
Wahrscheinlich will i...

Re: Give the most recent entry its own class (CSS)
Hello there, thanks you so much for your answers -- I'm afraid that a s9y-creation is good for programmers and not so good for content developers with less coding skills  Looking in the mimbo templates code, I read so much smarty code that is more a problem than that it helps me -- just anoth...

Re: Give the most recent entry its own class (CSS)
Hi! Thank you for the quick answer. So it's all about smarty and the loop ... and no simple solution (for me). Since we do only need the very first (the most recent) entry on the start page with a special CSS class, your {if $smarty.foreach.(loopname).first}class="first"{/if} could help, I...

Give the most recent entry its own class (CSS)
Hi all, while trying to format the most recent entry on the start page with a special CSS attribute, eg. font-weight: bold;, I'm stumbling upon the question on how to identify this most recent entry? Example: .most_recent { font-size: 120%; font-weight: bold; } Entry 1: Date Text 1 Text1 Text 1 Text...

Dear Garvin, first let me thank you for your great work and your patience with us, the users. Somebody said that we'd love the Wordpress admin UI: Here's what I think the project needs: Better admin panel ui. You don't like wordpress but you gotta love the admin panel UI of wp. Hmhm. Hi Garvin, hups -- this is a misunderstanding :-) But no problem, I solved it in the following way: <title> {if $category}MS-Reporter.de: {$category_info.category_name} - {$category_info.category_description} {elseif $is_single_entry}MS-Reporter.de: {$first_entry.title}{$staticpage_headline} {elseif...
