I have the statistics plugin installed and it only shows the date of the last entry, the number of entries, and the number of comments. It doesn't show the rest of the statistics but I have everything set to yes.

Any ideas how that could be?!

Thanks in advance.

That worked. I now see this at the top and the normal list of templates to choose from. ----- Theme/Style options This theme/style has no specific options. To see how your template can specify options, read the Technical Documentation on www.s9y.org about "Configuration of Theme options". ...

The Sunset template was from Spartacus and I had used it before and it didn't do that. I have my site set to Andreas08 now which I changed in the database and still can't switch templates.

The sunset template does have a config.inc.php file.

The version number at the top of my NEWS file says:

Version 1.1-alpha4()

but when I log into s9y I see:

Powered by Serendipity 1.1-alpha5 and PHP 4.3.11

I believe it was 'Sunset' that I changed to and first saw the 'Theme/Style Options' problem. I couldn't change templates after that except for going into the db and forcing it to change.

Thanks a million! :D

I've been wanting to learn more about plugins and try to figure out a way to add something to the guestbook to help prevent spam but I don't know enough about programming to get started good. This does help in getting rid of it anyway.

Theme/Style options

I updated my blog with a cvs snapshot from a couple of days ago and after changing my style (or template), I now get 'Theme/Style options' on the screen when I click on 'Manage Styles' and now choices to change templates. I can't change my style now!

Just curious... I was looking around in phpmyadmin and was cleaning out a bunch of old comment spam and see that the spamblocklog in my db is 5.5 mb. Is that common? That is the largest table in my db with exits next at 1.1 mb. All others look reasonable. Would it hurt to just dump those tables?

As always, thanks for all the hard work. I've used s9y for a couple of years now with very little web experience and have always used the latest beta with great luck. The two or three times the luck wasn't so great, someone in the forums helped out quickly! That never happened with other software I ...

I can't help much but I can say that I have 4.3.11 and mgroeinger just helped me get some other problems worked out and all seems fine now! I am also running s9y 1.0 beta 2.
