Possibility of adding multilingual navbar support?

Recently, I started using a theme that uses global navigation on my multilingual blog. One thing I would have liked to see was having an option to show different navbar items depending on the language selected. Basically, providing navbar items in appropriate languages. Would it be possible to tack ...

Revisiting the multilingual feature of static page plugin

I've recently switched over to a new theme on my blog. As the the built-in navbar looks so nice, I decided to use it instead of using an HTML nugget to create one like I used to do in the old theme. The problem is that the blog is multilingual and the navbar has links to static pages via permalink. ...

Re: "Illegal string offset 'lang_selected'" warnings

I manually edited the file to replace that one line, and now the error no longer pops up. Thank you. :D

"Illegal string offset 'lang_selected'" warnings

Looking at the error logs of my webserver, I've noticed this error cropping up every so often: PHP Warning: Illegal string offset 'lang_selected' in (server path)/include/functions_config.inc.php on line 993 I'm using the multilingual plugin (serendipity_plugin_multilingual), of course, so the blog'...

[freetag] constantly generates PHP warning in the log

While troubleshooting for a fatal error caused by SPARTACUS (for some reason, the php file was slightly corrupted), I noticed another string of errors stemming from the freetag plugin in the Apache server log: PHP Warning: explode() expects parameter 2 to be string, array given in (path)/serendipity...

Re: Usage of the Language-field in the Static Pages plugin

Upon further analysis, the DB table indeed did not have 'language' column. It was somehow not added after the plugin was updated to use it. I manually inserted the column and now things work correctly.

Re: Usage of the Language-field in the Static Pages plugin

I think something's broken with the plugin regarding multi-language support in the recent versions. I've been attempting to update old static pages and create new ones, but these all generate the following error: Unknown column 'language' in 'field list' Any ideas on resolving this issue would be ap...

The website design can use a redesign. It's a bit 'geeky', not 'professional'. Just a quick suggestion: consolidate the 'Blog' and 'News' menus into one. The old news should be integrated into the blog, and the sidebar link should have one link saying 'Blog (News)' or 'News (Blog)'. The link should ...

I think it's said right there... "/ Table 'javablog.serendipity_authorgroups' doesn't exist" Did you encounter any errors during the upgrade? It may be that the new tables did not get created. Check your MySQL tables (via phpMyAdmin, etc.) to see if your s9y database has 24 tables inside.....

Re: Plugins & Themes Install Problem

The error is quite simple: Serendipity cannot write to your templates/ and plugins/ directories. They need to be writable for the webserver user, i.e. 777. Ideally, one should do a chown to the directories so that the webserver user is the owner, and have it 770 or similar. It doesn't seem to be a ...

Oh, just saying that s9y does not seem to have problems with the latest
releases of those frameworks.

You've got the right section out.

Adding the on/off for the navigation wouldn't be terribly difficult, I expect...
so I hope Falk can add it soon.
