Chickens, please bear with me, as I'm a little lost.

There seems to be more than one RSS feed on my blog. Which one am I supposed to use?

Haha, or are they all the same?

Thanks. :)

Thank you for your reply.

I think my database is using UTf-8 as the Charset selection.

My database is MySQL 4.1.21 (I think) Sorry, I will contact my host to confirm this.

Does that information help you, or is there something more you need to know?

Quicksearch using Chinese not working?

One part of our website uses both English and Chinese. I just noticed today that if a user uses Chinese to search that they cannot find anything, instead getting the message: "No Entries Found for Query 'x' " - where x is some Chinese word or expression. Take for example - 夜猫子 (Simplified ...

Thank you both for your replies.

I will look into both options some more and post later on my status.

Thanks again for your advice. :)

Email subscriptions

Is there a way to let users subscribe to your blog so that every time there is a new entry on your blog they will receive an email. Many of my prospective users certainly will not use RSS feeds, so that is not a viable option. I tried a quick search of this forum, but I wasn't able to find anything ...

I am having the same problem as you. I seem to only be able to edit the default template, but everything else is unchangeable. Here is a link to my test blog: http://daxueyingyu.com/blog.tests/ Sorry if this is considered threadjacking, but I thought it would be better to post here than start a new ...

[RESOLVED]Help with slight template modification

Hello everyone. I'm currently using the default Serendipity template. I believe it is called Serendipity v3.0 or something like that. Anyway, I just want to change the blue banner(?) where the name of the blog goes to a custom picture. I've tried reading up on how to do this, but I can't seem to fin...

Thank you, thank you, thank you!
Ok, sorry I have another unrelated question.
I want to keep the "Powered by serendipity" logo on my blog, but I want it to open a link in a new window instead of taking people away from my blog.
Is there an easy way to do this?

Thank you very much for your help. I decided to try to install the plugin you suggested - this seemed to go fine. The only problem is that I don't know how to use it. I configured my plugins to include it. I'm not sure what is the next step. I proceeded to add a new entry which is where I assumed th...

Problem with javascript - I am a newbie (Resolved)

Hello everyone! First of all let me say that I am no computer/programming expert.. so maybe this is a simple problem with a simple answer (I hope so) Secondly let me say thank you to everyone at Serendipity etc - I really like the software from what I have seen so far. I'm having a hard time getting...
