I was looking at the news page, and noticed that the post time is auto updating. Is this a bug, or should it auto update?

I am running Slackware Linux 9.0 with php 4.3.1 and the latest release of mysql. I tried chmoding the directory with 770, but still no luck. I'm in no rush. Drop me a line when the release is done.

When I try installing serendipity, I fill out the form on the install page, but when I click submit, it just takes me back to the index.php page and has me start over. What is the password to connect to the CVS server? If I try to leave it blank, it never connects.
