Xinha strips image path when dragged
I'm having an issue with image paths within an entry which I assume is related to Xinha. I don't use the media library for my entries and just link to images manually with the toolbar button. I've always been using this kind of path: "/serendipity/uploads/imagename.jpg" without a problem. ...

Re: saving with xinha deletes content
Hi,
Having trouble with Xinha too. It did a few bizarre saves on entries but I didn't track those errors down. However I can say that if trying to save something with javascript, it won't take it. Is that normal, and is there a work-around?
Cheers,
Vince

Re: HTML META-Tags plugin duplicates Description and Keyword tag
Sorry, just found it: {if $view != 'entry'} I'll work on the details, but am still curious to know if there is one global source for all those reference values. UPDATE: Ok, that's embarrassing: I just realized that I was using an earlier version of the plugin which didn't have the option for a defau...

Re: HTML META-Tags plugin duplicates Description and Keyword tag
Thank you both for your replies. Actually, Judebert's idea was exactly what I was after. Don is right, the plugin does has a default for Description and Keyword but as far as I understand, it is ONLY triggered on single entry pages IF no specific values have been entered at entry publishing time. So...

HTML META-Tags plugin duplicates Description and Keyword tag
Hi, I would like to use the HTML META-Tags plugin to generate Description and Keyword Meta tags in single entries only. However, I want a generic set of Description and Keyword tags to appear on the main page of the blog and other listing pages. Here's my issue: if I place these generic Description ...

Serendipity and PicLens
Hi, I was just installing the amazing 3D photo browser PicLens on my web site's photo galleries and started dreaming of being able to use it my Serendipity blog too. But it uses a static Media RSS feed, which would have to be updated every time I post new pictures, which becomes a huge task. I notic...

Random entry HTML or Javascript link
Hi, I've been trying to create a "random entry" HTML or Javascript link based on the code found in the PHP file of the "Link to next/previous entry" plugin without success. I'd like to place a link to a random entry into my main web site javascript menu and possibly also into an ...

Hi Peter, Yeah, they locked me out without even giving me chance to fix it, not even a final warning. They said the spamming was making even the isolation server blip. So I got the hell out of there and onto an different hosting provider, with a different URL for the blog. I had much trouble reinsta...

Wow, Garvin, thanks! You might be on to something big here. The file you say is missing is actually there but I just realized that my ftp software was set to force lowercase file names. That might be the source of all my trouble. I'll re-upload everything tonight and hope for the best! Kind regards,...

Hello garvin, As always, thanks for dropping by. I've double and triple checked my ftp uploads on different installations. Here's the error log from a single attempt at loading the page: PHP Warning: Module 'iconv' already loaded in Unknown on line 0 PHP Warning: Module 'imap' already loaded in Unkn...

Hello Azel, I'm afraid the FAQ's didn't help, I read through the whole thing without sucess. My .htaccess file seems fine. I'm puzzled by the fact that I can run the admin interface, but that all the titles or items appear not as captions but as their coding equivalent, with underscores linking the ...
