Re: Failed Opening PEAR/Exception.php (Themes, plug-ins, Maint)
I'll have a look.
By the way, does the website also load extremely slowly for you (https://www.jarnsvenskan.se) ? or is this connection-related on my side only?

Re: Failed Opening PEAR/Exception.php (Themes, plug-ins, Maint)
@oli Path is /storage/content/((crunched))/jarnsvenskan.se/public_html/bundled-libs/HTTP/Request2/Exception.php Permissions of Exception.php are rwxr--r-- so executable by owner. Yet INSIDE the /Request2 folder, there is of course no PEAR folder, so if the require_once 'PEAR/Exception.php'; refers t...

Re: Failed Opening PEAR/Exception.php
The problem turned up, again, after auto-updating to the current version (Clean Blog, PHP 7.2.10), now with the page https://www.jarnsvenskan.se . Error message turns up only when a.) clicking on "update plug-ins" or b.) "install a new plug-in" or c.) on the "Maintenance"...

Re: "noindex" for nearly all pages
@Be@t, Showcase: with pleasure, absolutely. But ... how to do so? @oli: Here we go with the plug-in list with genpage functionality ... (wild guess would be the DSGVO, but only because of the nature of the plug-in) serendipity_event_staticpage.php serendipity_event_multilingual.php serendipity_event...

Re: Google Sitemap xml not generating
Problem solved ... though not sure how
I generated a custom sitemap.xml, uploaded it via FTP, and since then, s9y overwrites and updates it regularly, as intended.
Seems as if s9y had problems creating the sitemap.xml file itself.

Re: Submit button wouldn't work in media library
Thanks! Tried both Opera and Firefox with different ad blockers /JS on-off switches installed and disabled (and in one case, none at all) .
No dice. interestingly, it did work until some time ago ... I just can't remember whether the error occured after the last s9y update or not.

Re: "noindex" for nearly all pages
Yes, all individual entry pages have been set to "noindex" in the header section. ("noindex, follow")

Submit button wouldn't work in media library
When trying to insert a picture in a post, I can choose teh picture and adjust the settings (alignment etc.), but the Submit button wouldn't work. I can click on it, but nothing happens. The error occurs in one of my s9y (2k11 template) installations but it works with others. Any idea why this would...

Re: "noindex" for nearly all pages
I encountered the same problem. I just bluntly changed "noindex" to "index" to avoid any further problems, and since that should be no problem with the installation in question, since there is no comment function active there. Problem is that this change would certainly vanish wi...

Google Sitemap xml not generating
I just installed the Google Sitemap plug-in (thanks!) but it doesn't seem to generate the sitemap.xml.gz file. Can't find it in the base FTP path. I am sure I am missing something simple, so ... any hints of why this could be? The s9y installation in question does only contain few articles (ca 6) an...

Re: Can't change global language
I've the same problem. I installed the multilingual plug-in, set the Blog Default Language (in General Settings) to German, and my Preferred Language in Profiles to German as well. All worked fine. Then, all of a sudden, the General Language resets to English every single time I try to edit an entry...

Re: "Install Plug-in" -> blank page [Solved: faulty plug-in]
Thanks for the tip, sounds like it. I`ll clear the entry from the database tables.
I deleted the plug-in through the backend, which worked, but`ll have a look whether the folder has been removed from the server as well.

Re: "Install Plug-in" -> blank page [Solved: faulty plug-in]
Ok, cool, now the updater shot down the Spamblock Bee and nothing works .... reuploading it ... ... I now get the error message in the Updater, "serendipity_event_userprofiles (2013-10-07 21.19)", even though teh User Profile plug-in has been deleted. But since both Plug-In Updater and Ins...

Re: "Install Plug-in" -> blank page
Finally! Thanks to the provider creating a more detailed phperror.log, I could trace down a plug-in which caused all the trouble:
The "Userprofiles" plug-in was the baddie.
After deleting it, all works like a charm.
So: Check your plug-ins if you have a similar error ...
