Re: [announcement] XML-RPC Plugin with WordPress mobile supp

No, there doesn't seem to be an option for accessing the media library in those clients. I just thought I was missing something. :-) It just would have been a nice option since I have a lot of images in my library which I use quite often. But I understand that this is a limitation of the used client...

Re: [announcement] XML-RPC Plugin with WordPress mobile supp

Love it! Thanks to Grischa for your efforts! Seems to be working pretty good and I've been waiting for such a solution for a ling time. There is still one question remaining, though. Is there any way to access my media library from within the iOS Wordpress App or Blogsy for iPad? I couldn't find a w...

Re: HTML-statuscodes für comments

Okay, I've been playing around with option 2 and 3 over the weekend a bit but to no avail. My last hope now is the "wfw:CommentAPI". How exactly can I use it for submitting automatted comments? Are there any documents or further information about this API?

HTML-statuscodes für comments

I have built an iPhone-/iPad-App on top of my sy9-blog which takes the contents of the RSS feed and puts it into an iPhone-friendly design. I do the same with the comments-RSS. Writing comments is done through the s9y comments-form, which is presented in an iPhone-optimized webseite. So far so good....

Re: Wrong URL Rewriting Rule?

Thanks for the solution, Lars!!!
Removing the "$" did indeed solve my issues.

Re: Adding Facebook's Like buttons

Garvin, just to let you know and as a follow-up to my issue... The mentioned solution indeed did the trick for me and my 1&1 setup. After removing the "$" my CSS is now used correctly when enabling mod_rewrite. Being able to use rewriting also solved my issues with the Facebook like button (and also...

Re: Adding Facebook's Like buttons

I just received this answer from 1&1: Das Apache-Modul "mod_rewrite" ist auf all unseren Servern (ausgenommen Pakete der Windows-Edition) standardmäßig vorhanden und kann wie in folgendem Beispiel verwendet werden: http://hilfe-center.1und1.de/hosting/600357 Wir bieten Ihnen kompetente Beratung und ...

Okay, 1&1 knows about the problem. I will wait for their feedback and let you know when they got back to me.

Re: Adding Facebook's Like buttons

Thanks! I have tried your suggestion. The last three links work (still with broken style) after adding the lines to my .htaccess file. Anyway, when trying http://schimanke.com/serendipity.css I still get the 404 error.

Re: Adding Facebook's Like buttons

Well, there is something about serendipity.css in there but I don't know if this is what mod_rewrite needs. I have sent the .htaccess file to 1&1 and gave them a link to this thread, so maybe they have an idea. I have sent you also my .htaccess, Garvin. Maybe you see something in there that causes t...

Re: Adding Facebook's Like buttons

Yes when mod_rewrite is enabled, links like http://www.schimanke.com/archives/1762-Neue-iPhone-Tarife-bei-der-Telekom.html do the same like links like http://www.schimanke.com/index.php?/archives/1762-Neue-iPhone-Tarife-bei-der-Telekom.html when rewriting is disabled. The only problem that I have ex...

Re: Adding Facebook's Like buttons

No matter which setting I use (disable, errorhandling or mod_rewrite) I always get a 404 error. That should be normal since there is no "serendipity.css" but a "serendipity.css.php" in my document root. Does it have something to do with that? When I change "serendipity.css.php" to "serendipity.css" ...

Re: Flattr Button not showing correct numbers

Okay, it was just a guess up to now since I experienced some similar behaviour with my facebook like-buttons (http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=16668). If I could get URL rewriting to work, I will see if my guess was right...

Re: Adding Facebook's Like buttons

The URL is www.schimanke.com. The site is currently hosted at 1&1 and as far as I was able to find out, they support rewriting as the describe some statements in their FAQ. I think that css thing is the only problem that occurs due to the rewriting setting. Is there anything I can do manually to get...
