Re: Length of text

I know that the problem is the MySql text field that has a size limited to 64KB. This is small, specially with UTF8. Is it possible to have S9Y use MEDIUMTEXT for the body and extended fields of table "entries" in a next version? Since version 1.6 (released 2011-10-27), all new installation should ...

When you go to "Admin==>Maintenance==>Weblog application" and click GO comes following error:
Can't reproduce with 2.3-rc1 and PHP 7.1.31 on our testblog.

Could someone test this (it's the importer) with PHP 7.2 or newer, please?

Re: "Uncaught Error" when updating from 2.15 to 2.3-beta1

Using the search function bring up an error, because you are not able to put other ciphers than numbers and letters. For example "free trade zone" is OK. If you search for "free+trade+zone" this produce following error: [...] Can't reproduce in 2.1.5 or 2.3-rc1 on PHP 7.1.31 with standard theme (2k...

Re: Integrating Serendipity in HTML site

I have an HTML website and I'm looking to integrate a blog and blog writing solution to it. I find WordPress too bloated for what I'm looking to do as I only need to write blogs. That should work with Serendipity just fine. Wondering if this can plugin to an existing HTML site I'm not sure what you...

Re: "Uncaught Error" when updating from 2.15 to 2.3-beta1

It looks like there is an error in serendipity_event_metadesc.php, which this change in mysql now manages to supress, but I'm not very familiar with that plugin. thh uses it though I think :) Yes. Looks like a regression from https://github.com/s9y/additional_plugins/pull/99 . Before, the last bran...

Re: On Version 2.3 with PHP 7.2 css loosing his mind

I've put the screenshots at this dir,: https://corcons.com/img/Screenshot_1.png https://corcons.com/img/Screenshot_2.png Looks like the CSS was not loaded. Is there an easy way to reproduce the problem? Just waiting some time and then following a link or reloading didn't work for me. Otherwise you ...

Re: "Uncaught Error" when updating from 2.15 to 2.3-beta1

Hi, I pushed an update for the wikipedia_finder (1.5.1), but for serendipity_event_karma I'd need more feedback. Looks like the "(int)" fixed it? Yes I've put everything back to Serendipity version 2.1.5 and PHP version to 7.2 as it was before the update. On the Karma plugin I've put the (int) and ...

Re: "Uncaught Error" when updating from 2.15 to 2.3-beta1

2. error seems to be in serendipity_plugin_wikipedia_finder. And yes, line 165 uses a constant that does not exist. That I can fix now. 3. error it claims to be in serendipity_event_karma.php. Line 2063 is indeed a calculation, maybe one of those variables in really not a number? PHP 5.6 probably d...

Re: On Version 2.3 with PHP 7.2 css loosing his mind

On Version 2.3 with PHP 7.2 css loosing his mind. That's quite a graphic description, but unfortunately not that helpful. :-) How does it look when the CSS looses its mind? See screenshots: https://blog.corcons.com/test/Screenshot_1.png https://blog.corcons.com/test/Screenshot_2.png I get "404 - no...

Since I can not reproduce your issues at all, I'll assume you fixed them yourself somehow.
He did, see the German thread: viewtopic.php?f=10&t=24452#p10452074
