I've figured it out... Thanks for the help..

For some reason these entries were set in the serendipity_config table in my database.

serendipityHTTPPath = "\/"
and the baseURL = "http://localhost\/"

I manually updated these entries and everything is working fine now.

I don't remember putting '\' anywhere in the configs.

Here's my local config...
