Re: Remove a person from an email (comment) subscription?

I guess I can always manually unsubscribe a bounced email by using the URL construct: http://<blog url>/unsubscribe/<email>%40<email domain>/<post ID> Can someone point me to the code bit where these emails get sent out? I got a complaint from a subscriber that they received multiple email notices f...

Remove a person from an email (comment) subscription?

Hi-

Is there any way I can remove emails from the "Subscribe to comments"?

I have a couple old subscribers that the emails now bounce - but I can't see any place in the back end I can manage comment subscriptions.

S9Y mentioned at A Small Orange

I use A Small Orange for my web hosting. I just noticed that they'd revised their web site and in the section titled "Host your blog with A Small Orange" it has s9y displayed right up there.

Figured you'd appreciate the recognition.

Re: Chrome - wrong representation of the entrycontent in bac

Try it with Iron (another Chrome derivative). It is available in a portable version. That may help narrow it down to Comodo.

Re: Moving to GitHub.com: Call for developers - CVS/SVN affe

I had CVS access as "ffaat". I do have an account on GitHub already as "RobAnt"

I have not contributed much to s9y recently, though I do keep aware of the blog and forums, so it is up to the core and current devs if you want to renew my access once migrated to GitHub.

Thanks,

Best way to do this in S9y?

Hi- I'm setting up a portfolio site, and while I have always used s9y for my personal blog and stuff, and done plugin development, so am familiar with it (see my sig) I initially didn't think it would make sense for a little portfolio site. I initially went with a little CMS called GetSimple that ha...

Re: State of the Art in Update Postings

I asked once before about rss updating when a post is updated and was told that is not considered appropriate by those who know about rss.

i.e. it should only show up in the rss feed when it is first posted, and not, "bumped" every time it is edited. That is s9y's behaviour.

Re: Godaddy Suspended my account, high utilizaton of plugins

Each directory should have a maximum of 1,024 files. Any more than this can cause file system latency and slowness when accessing FTP and hosting from the Web. That is why I had to move a major forum for fantasy map making I manage (www.cartographersguild.com) from Godaddy. It is using vBulletin, a...

Vanilla Forums?

Anyone here us Vanilla Forums? http://www.vanillaforums.com/ They now have an <embed> plugin that lets you embed a forum into your website with one embed object call. On my site I created a test static page called forum and pasted the code in there: http://ffaat.pointclark.net/blog/pages/forum.html ...

The search suggested by the linked post brought up over 20,000 hits in the database! If Don Chambers is reading this, I believe he has my FTP access information to Fuzzyfm.com (DON: I have replaced my PC and am struggling to get into Serendipity admin at Fuzzyfm.com) TIA Trevor Dawson 4 matches: ht...

Re: Plug-Ins for homepage only?

I see that option in my choices, but the ad still shows up in my "archives" and "categories" pages. Is there any way to have the plug-in simply show up on just the one page? The plug-in is called "HTML Nugget." Is there a better choice with which I might address my pro...

Forums in S9Y

All- I've been considering adding a forum to my s9y site, but have resisted adding a 3rd party forum mainly because of the integration issues. I looked at the existing forum plugin which is messy (for the internal forum) and seems a bit flakey for the phpBB integration. So here is my question... Wha...
