Install the Start Page Category plugin and you can define which categories are shown on the front page.

It should ask you, however, for your WP database host, user, pass, name, and table prefix. It probably won't ask you for the URL, because it won't need it. Just the posts & comments will be imported into your s9y blog.

I would think so. I tried an experimental import from Wordpress on a "different" server, meaning my root domain and a subdomain, and it worked fine for me. I use Dreamhost, so localhost was not the host for my databases.

Honestly, the only way it will work is to install RC2a, because the newer versions of Gallery work on a different version of the API Core. Therefore the coding of the plugin probably needs to be updated. If you happen to install the RC2a version and run into any problems, please let me know. I will ...

Inserting RewriteEngine Off in your .htaccess file should do the trick.

Make sure the download servers in your Spartacus configuration are both set to netmirror.org.
