There are no error messages when I hit the URL and indeed I get back some javascript.
So did you empty your browser cache ? Does that fix the error?

I just tried to install the static pages event plugin from spartacus on my 2.0b3 s9y shared installation with PDO::sqlite DB backend and got the following error(s):

Serendipity is installed in /usr/local/lib/php/serendipity2/s9y since it's a shared installation but the database is created (by default) in /home/me/serendipity/. The open_basedir contains "/home/me/serendipity/."
