Up for testing

I finally got a spare moment and have a basic version ready. No documentation, have a play and see what you get. Best results, use VoodooPad on the mac to import. However, you can create your own content too. Please be careful not to ruin your entries contents with the "write wiki aliases to en...

Restricting access to wiki content

I'm not an expert in managing wikis but would like to know if you plug in could consider restricter access for some articles, for example, an article that is wrotten by 2 or 3 authors for a Congress. I'm no expert either :) but I see what you're getting at, it raises some interesting points. I gues...

A Wiki in my Serendipity Blog

I'd be grateful for comments or suggestions for the Wiki plugin I'm most of the way through developing for serendipity. It currently has the following functions: - Allow import from wiki sources, currently only voodoopad the desktop wiki editor for the mac, but easily extended. - Creates static page...

VoodooPad Importer

I've written a Serendipity importer for VoodooPad documents. It imports the set of documents from your desktop wiki as a set of static pages, and then rebuilds the links between them. This lets you drive integrated content directly from your voodoopad document. Please check it out at http://fracsoft...

Nice!

I especially like the sound of importing to static pages, going to give it a crack. Thanks for the invaluable advice.

VoodooPad

I use the mac software voodoopad to maintain a desktop Wiki style database of my reading/notes at work. It can publish itself as a set of interlinking html files. What I was wondering was, would it be possible to browse this structure as serendipity entries? Any ideas what the best approach would be...

Re: More patches?

I'll have to look into that. In the meantime this is a link to a tweaked serendipity_xmlrpc.php file which includes my previous fix, your fix, and a number of others which pretty much complete compatibility with ecto. Theres a number of issues, and I'm not having any success with MarsEdit either, so...

My web host has just this second sorted it out. Only problem now archives and admin broken but I'll get there one day :) One other question, how can I simultaneously configure serendipity with a relative url of serendipy/ for one domain and a url of / for another? Timothy, I cannot confirm. Everythi...

More patches?

Do you mean use this patch instead of the one I suggested? I'm not sure it fixes it on its own. Whilst on the subject, with the above patches its definitely improved a great deal but its still not working correctly (e.g. preview in ecto fails to load content until you specifically grab the post), an...

Another thing yuo might want to enabled is 'autodetect baseurl' within serendipity configuration. But to me it looks like the site is working now? Unfortunately still not right. Its like it can't load the images and things. This link demonstrates the first problem: http://deepbluesea.fracsoft.com/ ...

I unfortunately don't know what to do with it...? Seems pretty standard.
