Re: S9Y 2.1.3 and autologin

Yes. We built a new autologin function that avoids that issue that will be in the next version. For context: https://github.com/s9y/Serendipity/pull/542 is the issue and links to the commit.

Re: S9Y 2.1.3 and Plugin Piwik

Oh, where is that plugin coming from? https://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=19993 ? It might need an update. The issue is like the issue that is tracked on https://github.com/s9y/Serendipity/issues/550. Some plugins still use an old library to make HTTP request. But the event_piwik plugin is not...

Re: Clean blog Warning: Parameter 2 to timeAgoInWords() expected to be a reference

Yes, I think that it should still work regardless. But I would not be confident enough to deploy the change to old s9y versions without testing.

Re: Clean blog Warning: Parameter 2 to timeAgoInWords() expected to be a reference

No, it will be necessary to change that function in the theme. But the theme is in the core, so in this case it can just be changed, without needing bc compatibility with earlier s9y versions.

Can the fix be merely what Roger suggested, or does there need to be a conditional test on the php and/or smarty version?
Since it is a design in the core this can just be changed.

Re: Clean blog Warning: Parameter 2 to timeAgoInWords() expected to be a reference

But that's not the issue here. It's the place where references are allowed: A function definition. The issue is that it is not being given a reference, but a value. By the way, that collides with wthat the documentation is claiming, that PHP would handle that automatically by just declaring the refe...

Re: Statistics Plugin

That would mean an extension of the plugin. I think I already know the answer: This is an open project, If you want it, do it yourself … ;) You know that's not always the case. But the statistics plugin could indeed need some love. Most of the time though when people get interested in those analyti...

I'd much prefer a pull request via github :) You can also directly raise the version number in there.

Re: Bug in multilingual plugin for empty searches

how do find out if tag_title is being called? I would have added a echo "tag_title"; at the top of the function, that would then be displayed at the top of the page. For archive pages, the genpage hook calls the smarty assign for the title explicitly - why? I guess it depends on when this gets call...

Re: Bug in multilingual plugin for empty searches

I don't want to nag, but I don't know if you appreciate if a bug is discovered, even a small one. We do! Let's see whether we can pinpoint the issue. Only thing better than bug reports are pull requests ;) Could you debug this a bit more? Is tag_title being called on that search result page when th...
