Re: Individual style per sidebar item

Thanks you, that was the class I was looking for :D The kid I'm doing the layout for, wants to have different colored "stickies" for the sidebar items, similiar to this website (which I just googled as an example): http://kool-entertainment.co.uk/index.html So, I was planing for the sidebar items to...

Individual style per sidebar item

Me again  I searched the forum up and down now. Pretty sure I saw a thread with the solution just a while ago. For a colorful children's blog, I'd like to give every sidebar item a different style (color and top/bottom border image). If I recall correctly, every sidebar plugin has a specifi...

Ok, I think I'll just go the easy way for now and do that. Thank you! :D

Re: Remove Date in RemoteRSS

Thank you! I'm always a bit afraid with CSS that it's not working for viewers, so I tend to only use it for simple formatting and remove things I don't need from the tpl. But I suppose "display" is widespread enough. I saw a recommendation to use "visibility:hidden" as well to be sure that it works ...

Remove Date in RemoteRSS

Hi~ I'm not able to remove the date from the RemoteRSS plugin. Setting the date display to "no" in the configuration has no effect, whether with or without Smarty enabled. Removing related lines from the tpl files in the plugin directory has no effect either. I tried both with Smarty on and off. Wha...

Re: freetag - related posts' pictures

In the Mimbo theme I'm using, there is a small special picture assigned to each entry which is only displayed on the front page. The picture is assigned to the entry via a custom field called MimboImage (at the bottom of the entry edit page): Custom Fields: Additional custom fields can be used in yo...

Emoticons

Hi, I'd like to edit the Emoticate Event Plugin. I want to use more emoticons than it makes sense to display on the comments form. What I would like to do is only show 10 emoticons and then a wider selection via a popup link. Now, I know how to insert a target=blank link but I seem to not be able to...

Protected page with multiple access?

Happy New Year @Everyone! In case you ever feel like celebrating a New Years party in Den Haag - bring ear plugs and a fire extinguisher. That town is a battlefield on Dec 31. I mean it! Eniway, question: how would you realize a protected website for certificates and qualification papers o...

Re: Research Blogging / Quellenverweise

Hi! That certainly makes sense. I'm not a big fan of using entry tags but this would be actually a good usage for them. I'm starting to work in an e-tutoring project in February in which I will need an e-portfolio and I would very much love to setup a s9y for this, especially when a footnote/source ...

Re: Serendipity Verbesserungsvorschläge

Hmm?

Re: Research Blogging / Quellenverweise

Hi Garvin, yes, I always spin things a bit ahead of me and my own abilities  I basically was thinking of how a normal thesis paper is build up: First, you have the individual pages with numbered words¹ and on the bottom the footnotes². -------- ¹ Duden: Substantiv, Neutrum - kleinste selbst...

Re: Template chooser

Hi, sorry, busy as always ^^; (And sick - gawd, I felt so bad...) Aaah, so you mean the Docs on the frontpage. I was thinking of having really one page per plugin and/or task, and collecting solutions from the forum there. As example, I use colored dots now to switch the template color with help of ...

Re: Research Blogging / Quellenverweise

Is anyone else interested in a plugin like this? Yes! I want to use my blog as study and work portfolio, so I was looking into "footnotes" as well. It didn't even came to my mind that this could be easier done via a plugin, my plan was to just do it manually per entry and put interesting sources in...
