Adding the widget option would be great!
For now I use the manual modification from Mangek which seems to work fine!
Thanks and cheers,
Lars

Twitter Plugin new "follow me" Button
Hi, it would be great if the Twitter plugin could make use of the new Twitter "follow me" button instead of the "follow me" link. The new button can be generated here: https://twitter.com/about/resources/followbutton Thanks for the new release 1.6, update worked as a charm, as us...

Re: No Flattr Button at New Posts
Update: The text "This page", which Firefox 3.6.17 shows instead of the Flattr button was actually just the beginning of more text which was not fully displayed. Via copy-pasting it it revealed this: This Page Cannot Be Displayed The requested URL was too long and could not be processed. ...

Re: No Flattr Button at New Posts
Hi, I was about to write that the behaviour is very browser specific. I made a new post called "Test". With "other" I refer to the post mentioned above: Firefox 3.6.17: "Test" post: correctly shown icon "other": "This page" text is shown instead of t...

No Flattr Button at New Posts
Hi, since my last post I do not see the Flattr button anymore at the post footer. In the "compact" style there is nothing visible, in the "default" style it shows the text "This Page": http://www.frantzen.info/archives/14-Open-Xchange,-Android-und-Linux-ein-Trauerspiel....

Hi, Setup: Powered by Serendipity 1.5.5 and PHP 5.2.17 Twitter Timeline (serendipity_plugin_twitter) 1.29 When I set the plugin to PHP mode, the link which shall lead to the tweet itself on twitter is wrong. For instance, the tweet: Bla Bla Bla. Saturday, February 12 2011 will have the "Saturda...

Re: Wrong URL Rewriting Rule?
Hi,
I see. Making an extra "Apache mod_rewrite for 1und1 hosts" option in the config is probably a bit over the top.
Cheers,
Lars

Re: Wrong URL Rewriting Rule?
Hi, I added the line, so it looks like this now in my .htaccess: ... RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f RewriteRule ^(serendipity\.css|serendipity_admin\.css) index.php?url=/$1 [L,QSA] ... This breaks again the thing, the stylesheet is not found anymore. If I put instead the line at the beginning o...

Re: Wrong URL Rewriting Rule?
Hi, another point: have you enabled URL rewriting? You do this via the Serendipity administration page, go to Administration --> Configuration --> Appearance and Options --> URL Rewriting For 1&1 you can set it to "Use Apache mod_rewrite". Having done so Serendipity adds a whole bunch ...

Re: Wrong URL Rewriting Rule?
Hi Florian, good to hear that this solved the issue also for you! One last remark: after turning URL rewriting on I had to correct some links of the upper navigation buttons. Seems you have the same issue ("About" and "Projekte" for instance now just lead to the blog). I assume y...

Re: Adding Facebook's Like buttons
Hi,
just discovered that I run into the same problems with 1&1. I could solve it by changing one rewriting rule, please see this thread:
http://board.s9y.org/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=17136
Hope that helps also in your case.

Re: Wrong URL Rewriting Rule?
Hi Garvin, yes, I am am using 1&1...Sorry for not having found the thread you mention, it is all in there... Well, so I did not find a bug in the rewriting rules, but a hack to get it running under a 1&1 setup  Well, good enough for now... I will add a posting at the thread you mention...
