Re: Bugbugbug

This is a bug in your browser. It can happen when your browser does not properly restore INPUT elements, but displays them with previous contents. The firefox browser is known to cause these oddities, especiall if you are using Form extensions like SaveForm. Hi Garvin, I don't use SaveForm. Firefox...

S9Y overwriting DB settings when saving config

Hi there, when saving settings (Admin panel -> Administration -> Konfiguration) for a fresh 0.9 stable installation (no need to change settings actutally) the database connection settings in file serendipity_config_local.inc.php get messed up. I'm currently dealing with two installations where after...

Bug in Podcast plugin

Hello people, there is a bug in the Podcast plugin v1.10 (serendipity_event_podcast.php) that makes it render enclosure tags incorrectly. Example: Im Netz gibt es recht viel kostenlose Musik: man muss nur wissen, wo sie zu finden ist. Allerdings ist das meiste davon nicht nach meinem Geschmack und v...

Sure... I would like to test the plugin some more. I'll let you know when it's done :)

Re: Smarty output filter

Maybe that helps you further? If not, please try to tell me what you want to do, then I can see how/if that is possible. Of course we're willing to expand our API to do what you want, if needed! Yes it did! I've made another plugin. :) It mangles Smarty's output and sanititzes it from whitespace, h...

Smarty output filter

Hi there, hi Garvin :) Is possible to register smarty output fiters from within an external plugin (not from a template)? I'm reviewing s9y for possibilities but it seems it won't work without changing s9y internal code. Event hooks are being handled before smarty gets involved (that's how I underst...

Hi Rene! Great to have a volunteer for that, but I'm afraid that a Smarty backend won't be coming for a long time. To migrate the backend there is about 2-3 weeks of fulltime work, and it's not really necessary IMHO... Too bad... But I see it would be a lot of work. About spartacus: This one curren...

The problem is that we do not (yet) use Smarty in our Backend. But I agree, form validation is a thing which should be introduced. I would volunteer but that's not trivial to do and I have some exams to do... But I could implement SmartyValidate once Smarty has been integrated. I have used recently...

Hi Rene! We do have a 'cleanup' method for plugins, where they can do exactly that: Check the input parameters, and if they're invalid, reset the value to working defaults. The event_contentrewrite plugin makes use of that method, if you want to look at an example... Ah OK... I've got two problems:...

Ah that's great... Ahm I am wondering if it is possible to get admin interface plugin settings verified via RegExps or so. I mean if I could verify the client ID being an INT prior to saving and NOT every time a page is being accessed logging could be sped up a bit. Significantly I guess. The same g...

Well, check out the new version please and tell me your experiences.

Be aware that this plugin is mostly untested. I am using it now for some hours and it seems to work as it should.

Re: Is there a PHPOpenTracker-Plugin for s9y already? If not

That's a nice plugin, would you like to add it to our CVS additional_plugins repository? That would be nice. One thing though - you should make the PHPOPENTRACKER_PATH setting configurable in the plugin configuration; that shouldn't be too hard but will make it much easier to use the plugin without...

Is there a PHPOpenTracker-Plugin for s9y already? If not..

This is a plugin that enables s9y to log accesses via PHPOpenTracker. Go to http://www.log.reneschmidt.de/categories/16-s9y_phpopentracker and download. Any constructive feedback appreciated. Install 1. You need PHPOpenTracker properly installed for this (See http://www.phpopentracker.de for downloa...
