Thanks - I didn't find that when searching before

Hello,

does anyone know if it is possible to have a comments function on a static page?

I'm note sure which exact template I'm using (if that's relevant), but the credits at the bottom say: Design by Free CSS Templates for Serendipity ported by Reinhard

My blog is: http://julianhopkins.net ...

Thanks, I'm not sure if I understand all of that, but I guess the thing I was thinking was that maybe it was registering 'hits' (i.e. all the objects on the page and so on), which isn't very useful normally.

Sitemeter says it registers 'visits' (anyone on the site for less than a 30 minute stretch ...

Hi, I was wondering how does the 'Popular Entries' plugin, that uses karma, count visits?

My Sitemeter counter says that I have had a total of 108,099 visits on the blog, but the most popular post has apparently had 123,775 visits. I don't think the usual distinction of page views and visits counts ...

Hi, I was wondering whether there is any way to have Twitpics (http://twitpic.com/) also post automatically as a blog post?
Thanks

Sorry I forgot to thank you for this, I tried it out and it works (for the hover), and I worked out how to make it apply to the standard link.

But then it also applies the same format to the tabs (along the top of the page) and blog titles, which is not so nice. Do you know if I can specify that it ...

Hi I have a similar question - how can I can the hyperlinks from bold to a dotted underline in the andreas09 template?

Here's my blog link if you need it: http://julianhopkins.net/

Thanks for any help,
cheers,
Julian

Thanks! It seems to be working.
Much appreciated

Hi - I also have the same question. I've installed the plugin etc. but don't know where to put the smarty code.

Does the template I use make a lot of difference as to where I should place the code? I use the 'andreas09' template, and my url is http://julianhopkins.net

I'd like to have it in a ...

Thanks :)

I had tried <pre> already, but it made no difference at all.

The <textarea> works, but now the box it appears in is too small! :| Is there any way to determine how big it is?

Or maybe does it have something to do with the size of the panel as indicated in the code itself?

*Edit* No ...

I have a related problem, hope this is the right place to mention it.

I want to post a snippet of code (for people to copy and paste a hotlinked banner), the bbcode tag works to display it, but it is all in one long line which is not nice (see here: http://julianhopkins.net/index.php?/pages ...

OK got it :) Thanks! So basically, I just enter it in every time I am putting a picture into my post.

For anyone out there who, like me, wasn't sure where the proper place was to put the alt tag, here is an example (the alt tag text in red)
<img class="serendipity_image_center" width="466" height ...

Hi, sorry if this is a dumb question, but is there any way to put in ALT text manually? Is it in the image properties?

Thanks That works! I can see you put in a logic question thing, but I wouldn't know how to do that...

Thanks again for the rapid response, it's really appreciated

Hi it's me again, actually I'd like to return to this question - it seems that I did something wrong (I'm no expert at these matters) :|

It looks fine when I am in the main blog area (i.e. the one you see when you go to http://www.julianhopkins.net). It looks like this
