Easy Podcasting Plugin
Hi, I'm sure there's an easy fix for this and I'm being a dullard but is there an obvious way to only make the player look at certain links? For instance within a post I'd like to be able to offer an mp3 to listen to and to download but at present the plugin sees every mp3 and shows it as the player...

Don - that's pretty much exactly what it does which is fine as it goes but it's pretty indiscriminate and just looks at anything that might be a media file and turns that into a music player. It's good for what it does but does seem a little cumbersome. Now I'm guessing it must be pretty easy to emb...

Hi Don - thanks for that I wasn't aware of the plug in! I've downloaded it and (I think) carried out the instructions as per the installation document and see how the thing functions which is fine as it is (although I'm assuming it only works on media files uploaded to the directory as opposed to th...

Embedding JW FLV Media Player
Hi, I was hoping to be able to embed the http://www.jeroenwijering.com/?item=JW_FLV_Player in my website at http://www.mountain7.co.uk - should this be easy enough to do? My knowledge of adding folders etc to C-Panel is fairly limited but if someone could explain roughly how to go about it that woul...

Image Issues Again
Hi I'm getting yet more problems when I try to add images to my media library - I'm getting the following errors: Warning: move_uploaded_file(/home/mountai1/public_html/uploads/photo_beach.jpg) [function.move-uploaded-file]: failed to open stream: Permission denied in /home/mountai1/public_html/incl...

I've also been getting this error when merely trying to access the image library Unable to locate the file entitled .TheVi, maybe it has already been deleted? Unable to locate the file entitled .betwe, maybe it has already been deleted? Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (t...

Hi, I have also begun to receive errors similar to these - and only with 500k images. I have uploaded substantially larger in the past with no issues, and I have plenty of disk space. Was this problem resolved in the end? Fatal error: Allowed memory size of 33554432 bytes exhausted (tried to allocat...

Contact details on sidebar
Hi,
A fairly basic question this - is there a plug in (or some other way) to include a contact email address on the sidebar?
Any advice is greatly appreciated!
Cheers
Matt

Hi, well, from what I can see the permissions for that folder are set to 'write' for 'user' and read for everything else. So why the permissions are failing is beyond me. I can actually log into the admin suite and tried the change of template but that made no difference and I get the same error. Ga...

Data Migration to New Web Host
Hello, This is my first post here as I've been using Serendipity for the best part of 2 years now and not had any problems... But. I should probably declare that my knowledge here is scant at best and downright blank at worst so forgive me if I sound naive or plain dumb. We've moved our site to a ne...
