That does indeed redirect.....
but I was hoping to get rid of the /serendipity/ from the url.

One of my friends showed me this for Wordpress which does exactly what I want.

The link does not give too much real information ...

I am trying to figure out how to leave my current serendipity installation where it is, but make it appear at the root.
What I mean is, instead of www.mydomain.com/serendipity have it work as www.mydomain.com/

I now this is possible, just don't know how to do it

OK, after doing all that, the link now works, so that
http://www.ashmoorephoto.com/blog/index.php?/gallery.html
now brings up the gallery :D

Except that it is not embedded :shock:

I'm getting closer and learning more about this all the time!

I have chopped the site config about so that now the blog is at http://www.ashmoorephoto.com/blog
I will see how that works.

I have just had a thought.
The gallery is accessible as http://gallery.ashmoorephoto.com as well as http://www.ashmoorephoto.com/gallery
Would that be what is giving me grief?
In effect the gallery is a different domain name from the blog.

I am pretty sure I am doing something dumb, but I'll ask anyway :roll:
Installed G2embed and set it thus...
G2 Directory = /home/content/m/c/a/mcamphoto/html/gallery/
G2 HTTP Path = /gallery/
S9Y embed name = /index.php?/gallery.html
URL shorthand = gallery

The website is blog.ashmoorephoto.com ...
