I have been spammed by a bot and now have 1300 comments to delete.

is there a way to delete multiple comments?
or can someone tell me which table in the database i can delete rows from?
and if I can do that without breaking other code.

spam protection was enabled, so there is a bot that can get around spam protection.

I have just installed recaptcha , and will see how that goes.

it is inserting <br/> in place of a newline

In IE 7, the bbcode box is stretching my page when a line in the quoted code snippet is long.
Both vertical and horizontal scrollbars show correctly in the code page, but the code box is just too wide.
