Mystery solved...

In the end, I contacted my hosting provider and they said that they had recently made some changes, and hadn't updated all the settings... so there actually were two databases, I just couldn't see it. So now it seems that the problem is fixed, but I lost two posts in the ...

Nope, definitely only the one installation. The weird thing is, now I have logged in from a different computer, and I can only see the entries that were entered using the www. This includes in the admin panel... my latest entry that I made without the www is not there no matter what I log in with on ...

SOLVED: Entries different using www or not

Hi,

Recently, for seemingly no reason, I am having problems depending on whether I enter the www at the beginning of the URL for my website.

Depending on whether or not I log in to s9y with the "www" certain entries won't save properly, or disappear all together. The same happens on the site. For ...

Originally I tried installing it with Spartacus, and that caused the problems listed above.

I have now also tried installing it manually, but this just doesn't do anything. The plugin doesn't show up in my admin and there is no change in my side bar.

Okay, so I deleted everything and started again, but had the same problem even though I had the PEAR files right this time. I don't get any error messages, my sidebar just disappears and I lose the ability to do anything with my plugins on the admin side.

Any ideas?

Duh! There were some hidden files that were preventing me from deleting the directory. It's deleted now and the site is back to normal. Thanks for your help. Now I shall start again...

Because it didn't do anything, I thought maybe it would make it worse, so I put it back. I have deleted it again now, but nothing has changed.

Flickr plugin broke my site and my admin

Hi,

I installed the Flickr Sidebar plugin and now I have lost my sidebar on my site, and I also can no longer see my event plugins on the configure plugins page in my admin panel. I also can't see the Flickr plugin and cannot uninstall any plugins at all. I have tried deleting the Flickr plugin ...
